Barnes & Noble Releases the Nook

 Just earlier today, I blogged about the leaked e-book reader from Barnes & Noble.  Just half a day later, they go ahead and release it.  Here is the link to the Nook site. 

It looks promising.  Some features I like that are now confirmed are the ability to customize it, its ability to read mutliple types of ebooks, and the ability to not only put the ebooks on your computer and other type of device (ie my blackberry), but also to share the books with friends. That is cool--I'm looking forward to getting more details on their sharing program, as I love lending paper books to my friends after I read them (would that make me a paper pirate?).
